So much cool stuff dropped at San Diego Comic Con over the weekend that it will take a while to sort through it all. One of the trailers that had us quite excited was the new look at the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery series from CBS All Access (Canadian viewers will be able to catch the series on the SPACE Channel) as well as the surprising revelation that the show’s main character Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) is, in fact, the adopted daughter of Sarek and Amanda, Spock’s parents. That revelation has many fans scratching their heads, but producers assured the fans that it would all make sense.
What nobody else is mentioning is a character from the trailer who refers to himself as “Mudd”. Is this Harry Mudd in the years before he first encountered the Enterprise in the episode Mudd’s Women?
We’ll all just have to wait until September 24th to find out for sure. Until then, have a look at the trailer:
