1973 saw the beginning of a new wave of dinosaur comics as the Bronze Age got into full swing. There were still some of old Silver Agers like Turok around but now Marvel was competing with DC as the place to find saurians. Joe Kubert now had Tarzan but Marvel had their own jungleman in Ka-Zar both in comics and black & white magazine. Charlton must have had success with their The Flintstones comics because they did several spin-offs including Dino and Barney and Betty Rubble. Dinos are back, baby!
