The 1980s were another dry spell over-all for the dinosaur. Turok ended with a whimper and no great series took over until the end of the decade with Mark Schultz’s Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. (Henry Mayo’s Dinosaur Rex was too short-lived and Dino-Riders was an obvious toy series.) The Jurassic Park revival is still three years away at decade’s end…
