Dinosaur Comics, and comic in general, started to pick up in the last half of the first decade of the 21st century. By 2007, we saw the return of the dino-series with Jungle Girl and Shanna the She-Devil. Shanna had been featured in comics as far back as 1972 but never like this. the original Jungle Girl dated back to the 1940s and Edgar Rice Burroughs. The majority remained one-shot dino-covers on superhero comics.
