Seven Decades of Dinosaur Comics: 1978-1979

If you missed 1976-1977…

1978 saw the creation of the first comic to star a real dinosaur, Jack Kirby’s Devil Dinosaur. Sadly it only lasted one year. John Buscema got his chance to do Tarzan in Pellucidar in Marvel’s Tarzan Lord of the Jungle comics now that Joe Kubert was off the job. Turok was still around but Gold Key started repeating covers, usually by George Wilson.
